Supporting good causes with our Isolation Charity Challenge

This year the Taylor Wimpey Challenge, our annual charity fundraising event, couldn’t go ahead as planned. However, that hasn’t stopped us playing our part in supporting charities during the Covid-19 crisis. We are delighted to announce that our recent Isolation Charity Challenge has raised over £70,000.

Supporting good causes with our Isolation Charity Challenge

We will be donating £35,000 to NHS Charities as our way of saying thank you for all the amazing work they are doing. The remaining £35,000 will be split equally between Crisis, one of our national charity partners, who are in crucial need of support to help the homeless during the pandemic, and Childline, who are doing a fantastic job in keeping up with increased demand for their services.

We’d like to say a big thank you to all of our employees, their families, their friends, our customers, our suppliers, our subcontractors, and everyone else who took part in the challenge to travel as many kilometres as possible during their daily exercise on Monday 20th April. We saw people walk, run, cycle, dance great distances and donate £1 for each kilometer they travelled.
